Labbera is committed to protecting customer data, research confidentiality, and intellectual property.
1. Customer Data Ownership
Customers retain ownership of all uploaded experimental data, files, protocols, results, and associated intellectual property submitted to Labbera.
Labbera does not claim ownership over customer research data or scientific outputs.
2. How We Use Data
Labbera uses uploaded data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the platform experience for the customer workspace in which the data was uploaded.
This may include:
- processing experimental outputs
- generating analysis-ready data
- enabling workflow automation
- supporting AI-assisted search and retrieval features
3. AI and Model Usage
Labbera may use trusted third-party AI providers to power certain platform features.
Customer experimental data is NOT used to train shared scientific models across customers without explicit permission.
We may use aggregated and anonymized workflow-level information (such as general software usage patterns or parsing performance) to improve platform reliability and usability.
4. Confidentiality
We treat uploaded research and experimental data as confidential information.
Access to customer data is limited to authorized personnel only when necessary for platform maintenance, debugging, support, or security purposes.
5. Data Security
Labbera implements reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to help protect customer data.
However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. AI-Generated Outputs
AI-assisted outputs generated by Labbera are intended to support research workflows only.
Users remain responsible for reviewing, validating, and interpreting scientific results before making research, operational, or business decisions.
7. Data Deletion
Customers may request deletion of their workspace data by contacting us at yang@labbera.com.
8. Platform Status
Labbera is currently an evolving early-access platform. Features, workflows, and infrastructure may continue to change and improve over time.
